As part of its forest management plan, PRVWSD has contracted for the trees along the north side of Northshore Parkway between Cowan Cove and Spring Branch Road to be harvested. Revenue generated from timber harvests helps fund the District’s operations, including dredging. The work is expected to commence during the week of August 31 – September 4 and should be completed by the end of December, dependent on weather conditions. Drivers should exercise caution in this area. Trucks and equipment may be operating on or near the roadways during the harvesting operations.
